John Parkhill
Manager, Coal Projects
Leading the execution of strategic and sustainable
initiatives, John recognizes the importance of natural
resource development but also understands the balance
that must be achieved to support our collective needs
and protect the environment. An innate problem solver,
his drive to create win-win solutions while navigating
social, regulatory, legal and political dimensions,
has accelerated the pace of research and development
for cleaner technologies.
Building on what he learned as a graduate of Queen's
University, Bachelor of Science, Mine Mechanical
Engineering program, and his experience as a Project
Mining Engineer with Golder Associates Ltd., John is
dedicated to solidifying Mancal's leadership role in
an evolving industry.
